Shipping Procedure, Shipping Safety, and How Shipping Works

We ship daily, and the airport is only 30 minutes from our facility. All live pets are shipped via airlines only; we do not use USPS as it is illegal. We ship worldwide, but not all parrots can be shipped to every country due to legal restrictions.

A specialist will determine the closest airport for shipping your pet. (We only use airlines that implement a Pet Safe Program.) After selecting an airport, we will coordinate schedules and details between you and the breeder. We will then book your flight and send you an email itinerary with all times, flights, schedules, and pick-up locations. On the day of your pet’s journey, we will pick them up at the breeder’s facility and transport them to the airport. Once all paperwork is completed and your order is checked in at the airport, you will receive an email and/or phone call with updates. Throughout the flight, we will continually update you on the progress until your order arrives safely.

If home delivery is requested, the customer should be at home at the specified delivery time.

We will contact you on the day of shipment before the order departs our aviary. A return call, text, or email confirming the order’s safe arrival is greatly appreciated.

All sales are final once the orders are shipped. There are no returns. We have a 24-hour notification period after delivery for reporting any death at the point of delivery, as specified on the order. Immediate inspection is necessary to ensure no damage occurred during shipping and that the birds are alive upon delivery. We will replace a deceased pet or refund the cost of the pet one time, but not the shipping cost.

How Does Shipping Work?

We handle the flight/shipping arrangements for all our customers. The customer only needs to pick up their order at their doorstep or nearest airport with valid ID. It’s simple and safe.

We coordinate flight times with our customers a few days in advance of shipment (weather permitting). We drop off the order at our airport, and the customer picks up the order at their nearest major airport. Customers receive the airline, flight number(s), air waybill number, and flight arrival time prior to departure. A direct flight will arrive within 3-6 hours, depending on your state. Please refer to our “Terms and Conditions” for more detailed shipping information.

Is Shipping Safe for the Pet?

Yes, absolutely! Our pet carriers are designed to ensure our orders enjoy their flight. We provide food, water, and soft bedding inside the shipping carriers to ensure the pets are comfortable while traveling. Additionally, we train our pets to be in a pet carrier daily for a few minutes to ensure they do not get stressed during the flight.

Flying a pet or fertile eggs: Is it safe? This question is frequently asked. We wouldn’t consider it if it wasn’t safe. Approved airlines with pet-safe programs follow USDA guidelines. The order will have the same air as the pilot flying the plane, and someone will care for and look after them on and off the plane. We always book the most direct flight available, much like booking a flight for yourself.

Fertile eggs are well-packaged and secured for shipping. We pack the eggs in foam before placing them in a protective cardboard container to ensure 100% safe delivery to your doorstep or closest airport.

Our orders have always arrived safe and sound. Shipping experts even say it is better and more comfortable to fly a pet on a 2-5 hour flight than to drive with them for 6 hours or more. We trust their expertise to deliver pets safely.
